iDeX: But I Can’t Pay the Rent! Working for a Startup and Paying the Bills

Come learn about Lehigh University’s new Startup Internship Grant and other opportunities to support yourself financially while launching or working for a startup.

The Startup Internship Grant subsidizes living expenses for eligible Lehigh students in startup-related apprenticeships or internships, enabling them to experience entrepreneurial ecosystems around the country.

Other opportunities include:

  • Paid internships with regional startups through the USEDA Lehigh Urban Entrepreneurship Collaborative
  • Venture for America paid fellowships to join a startup company for 2 years
  • Startup spaces and incubators such as Velocity in Allentown’s City Center
