Welcome to the Baker Institute. Our signature immersive learning experiences combined with our expertise in Design Thinking and problem solving set us apart as a key resource for students, faculty, and staff across all disciplines, who want to make a difference.
Making a difference can look like a student venture project birthed from a napkin-sketch idea during a EUREKA! pitch night, but making a difference can also look like a student applying the pillars of Design Thinking to save lives in their career as a healthcare worker or spark policy change as an elected official in government.

Students describe our programs and events as transformational. Once they've jumped in to one Baker experience, we often see them coming back for more....which is why we offer year-long fellowships that bring together the best of Baker Institute courses, immersion programs, events, and more so students can go all in. From developing an entrepreneurial mindset to leveling up a venture project, our fellowships invite students to challenge themselves as problem-solvers and creative innovators through a schedule of specially curated Baker opportunities all year-long.
