ACCESS AND OPPORTUNITY: IMMERSIVE EXPERIENCES FOR ALL LEHIGH STUDENTS
Since its inception more than a decade ago, the Baker Institute has accepted hundreds of students into immersive experiences such as LehighSiliconValley (LSV) and the Hatchery. Students from across disciplines have shared that these opportunities were “transformational” and unlike any other in their Lehigh education. We are proud to accept deserving students into these much sought after programs, regardless of their ability to pay. We strive to ensure all of the Baker Institute's immersive experiences are not only engaging but accessible to all students.
Programs, like LSV and Hatchery carry not only the costs of tuition and program fees, but also require students to forgo earning opportunities that would cover necessary expenses, such as housing and food. The Baker Institute is able to offer “cost of living” grants to students who otherwise would not be able to afford these life-changing experiences.

The Baker Institute supports student founders and now - for the first time - alumni and community members through the recently announced Lehigh Ventures Lab. Lehigh Ventures Lab is a joint initiative between Lehigh University’s Baker Institute for Entrepreneurship, Creativity & Innovation and Lehigh University’s College of Business. Lehigh Ventures Lab is a milestone-based, in-person, venture accelerator that brings to bear the Lehigh network of experts, mentors, faculty and the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center’s Milestone Makers venture building program.
