I’ve always had the mentality that if you are passionate about what you are doing and work hard enough, you can accomplish anything you want in life. Because of this, I’m highly motivated, extremely persistent, and constantly striving to do my best. I love to work with others and am always willing to lend a helping hand. I thrive in challenging situations and am continuously searching for a new adventure. It’s this mentality that has attracted me to the LSV Program. I’m eager to learn from the experienced professionals in Silicon Valley, as well as from my fellow Lehigh peers.
Charlotte Maria '21 | FinTech
Major | Accounting
Minor | Computer Science and Business Information Systems
In many ways, I am abysmally average. As a blonde-haired blue-eyed white girl who is not especially pretty or ugly, no one looks at me twice. I haven’t travelled the world or fallen in love, lost a family member or changed the world. All this aside, I pride myself on my individuality more than any other characteristic. On the inside I am a unique jumble of ideas, questions, goals, and fascinations. I love to surprise people and am happiest when I am doing things my way, ignoring what others might think.
William Cioffi '21 | Software Engineering
Major | IDEAS: Mechanical Engineering and Product Design
Minor | Entrepreneurship
Born in the Pacific Northwest (Portland, OR) and now living in New York, bicoastal experiences have greatly influenced me. Perhaps my introspective nature and creativity were born in Oregon, while my curiosity and drive to create arise from my East Coast immersion. By living in diverse places, as well as through extensive global travel, I am appreciative of the differences among peoples and cultures. These life experiences inform everything I do and have led me to product design and engineering. I am thrilled to be a part of this Silicon Valley experience, as it embraces so many of my passions.
