Antonio Campanelli '19G | Start Up Major | MBA Corporate Entrepreneurship
Growing up in a first-generation household in the Lehigh Valley, I always knew I wanted to experience something larger. While I enjoyed my upbringing here, my love for traveling and experiencing other cultures led to my decision to move to the much more diverse Washington, D.C. metro. Upon graduating from undergrad, I found myself able to explore different parts of the world and experience these cultures. In the past three years I’ve visited nine different countries and countless cities across the US. These experiences have shaped the curious, open-minded, adaptive, adventure seeking individual that I am today.
Sarah Botwinick '19 | Software Engineering
Major | Computer Science and Business
Minor | Entrepreneurship
I am a very driven person who always accomplishes what I set my mind to. I know where I see myself in 10 years, and that is in an executive position at a successful technology company. I am confident that I will be able to achieve this goal through hard work and structured planning. Some passions of mine include long distance running, ice skating and traveling. I have used my organizational skills, leadership, and determination to achieve my goals in these activities, and I will in my career too.
John Lim '19 | FinTech
Major | International Relations, Economics
During my time serving as a youth representative for NGOs in both Europe and New York, I saw first hand how entrepreneurs use their passion to improve the world. Civil society leaders around the world are constantly challenging the norms on numerous areas, ranging from microfinance projects to sustainable development plans. I hope to learn not only to think like an entrepreneur but also to help support them through my time with LSV.
Madison Ulrey '20 | Start Up
Major | Psychology
Minor | Economics
Though upon first glance I may not look it, I am quite the skilled basketball player. I have always enjoyed the athletically competitive aspect of the game (‘breaking ankles,’ draining threes, etc.), but I have come to learn far more than the physical side: teamwork, passion, decision making, and hard work, all of which are necessary components to achieving my goals. Using these skills I acquired on the court, I have successfully applied them to my personal, social, and academic life in order to overcome the many challenges I have, and continue to face, in my day to day life.
