Meet the #LSV2019 Cohort

LehighSiliconValley includes 55 students across 4 topical tracks. Let's learn more about them!

Kelsey Swikart '21 | Start Up

Major | Management and Marketing

Minor | Entrepreneurship

Growing up the youngest of three girls, I learned at a young age how to leave an impression. A supportive and goal oriented household taught me the importance of leading and sharing my strengths with others. My creative and enterprising spirit has allowed me to be open minded and pursue the passions that add value to my life and the lives of others. I appreciate the importance of diversity and the positive effect that it has on my attitude and entrepreneurial spirit. I am excited to take this next step of following my passion of creating a startup

company.

Alex Johnson '19 | Software Engineering

Major | IDEAS: Computer Science Engineering and Psychology

Minor | Studio Art

From my very first finger painting "masterpiece", I've always loved art and creating things. Growing up in New York City, I was exposed to hundreds of different artists, cultures, and people. While I never thought I'd end up being an engineer, my passion for creation, logic, and art all played a huge part in who I've become. I'm always eager to try new things and I can't wait to travel to heart of the tech world for the first time.

Andrew Gilbert '19 | Start Up

Major | Mechanical Engineering

Minor | Aerospace Engineering and Entrepreneurship

Since I was a little kid, my parents have taken me all around the world, including 12 other countries and over 25 states. This is where I discovered my love for airplanes and air travel. I found it so amazing how an aluminum tube with a couple of engines could bring me anywhere whenever I wanted, and there was very little work to do on my part. This led me to pursue a degree in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering; where I aspire to obtain a pilot license. I am looking forward to the LSV immersion with regards to professional development!
